Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an experienced Estates Manager (BMS & Energy Management Systems) to provide Trust-wide leadership, oversight, and accountability for all Building Management Systems and energy management activities. The post holder will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of BMS across multiple sites, ensuring systems are optimised to support safe clinical environments, statutory compliance, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction objectives. Working closely with senior estates colleagues, clinical teams, and external contractors, the role will lead on performance monitoring, fault analysis, system optimisation, and continuous improvement, while reducing reliance on reactive contractor support and ensuring best value from existing infrastructure. This is a key role in supporting patient care environments, operational resilience, and financial sustainability across the Trust estate.
Experience with Building Management Systems is essential for this role.
