Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a eTMO Senior Analyst to join our Transformation team. The delivery of this role is key to the success of the overall enterprise portfolio, requiring close management and ongoing rigor to ensure clear standards are set and being achieved, deliveries remain on track, and as a result there is credibility and confidence in the overall UK Transformation Programme.

The purpose of this role is to provide support to change portfolios, providing clarity on overall plan status, undertaking health checks and quality controls, managing resource demand, and tracking and reporting on risks, issues, dependencies, costs and benefits at all levels of detail to various stakeholder groups. The role needs to drive adherence with tools, processes, templates and guardrails to support change delivery, consistent ways of working, and effective change controls.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £60,000.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support development and adoption of the Change Delivery Framework and Planview Tool
  • Provide reporting and insight to stakeholders and governance forums, such as Steering Committees, Portfolio Review Forum, Change Investment Committee, ExCo and Board
  • Provide planning support and control of scope and milestones
  • Actively support identifying and tracking dependencies
  • Actively support risk and issue management, including adherence to key controls
  • Support cost and benefit management, working closely with Finance Business Partners, to report on progress and variances to plan
  • Actively support demand management, providing oversight and alignment with strategic priorities
  • Ensure proportionate governance is in place to successfully conduct and deliver portfolio initiatives
  • Drive a high performance culture and supports engagement across the Change teams
  • Support development and adoption of PPM tool, ensuring high data quality and consistent ways of working

  • Technical Skills

    • Experienced in use of Jira and Confluence / other PPM systems / SharePoint / Microsoft BI
    • Some experience in project management skills such as organisation, governance, estimation, planning, scheduling, tracking, resource management, reporting and risk/issue management
  • Proficient in change management skills including communications and ability to effectively manage stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery practices
  • Proficient in Project Management & Office tools such as MS Office Suite, MS Project and MS Excel
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Desirable Skills

    • Demonstrable experience within Change Delivery, Project / Programme Offices or other
    • Experience in working in high pressure environments on time bound activities
    • Reporting of portfolio performance using established metrics
    • Ability to lead and drive simplification and continuous improvement
    • Leading department level initiatives
