Marketing Manager (Contract) – B2B Events
Lead Gen | CRM | Multi‑Channel Campaigns

We're supporting a well‑known UK organisation in the events sector that is looking for an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to join on a short‑term contract. The focus is on lead generation, exhibitor engagement, and delivering multi‑channel campaigns while the business completes recruitment for a permanent hire.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with Sales, can move quickly, and knows how to turn insight into commercial impact.
What you’ll be doing
• Developing B2B marketing strategies that drive demand, revenue, and exhibitor engagement
• Leading integrated campaigns across digital, email, content, events, and paid channels
• Optimising the full customer journey from first touch through to conversion
• Creating emails, landing pages, sales collateral, and promotional content
• Working closely with Sales to align activity with commercial goals
• Managing campaign performance and using insights to improve targeting and effectiveness
• Identifying new tactics, tools, and opportunities to grow reach and pipeline
• Supporting wider B2B initiatives that enhance customer success and venue growth
What we’re looking for
• Proven experience in B2B lead generation, campaign delivery, and CRM‑driven marketing
• Strong background in email marketing and building automated journeys
• Experience with Dynamics is a plus
• Confident working on webinars or similar content alongside Sales
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sponsored Campaigns
• Creative, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Contract details
• Length: 4–8 weeks (TBC), covering the period while permanent recruitment concludes
• Hours: Ideally full‑time (5 days), open to 4 days a week
• Location: Remote‑first, with preference for some in‑office collaboration with Sales
• Budget: Open and aligned to standard Marketing Manager day rates
