The Role
We are seeking an Events Manager to join us on a permanent basis via the Robert Walters Consultancy. Your first assignment will be at JP Morgan Chase Bank, in London. For this role, we are seeking candidates with strong attention to detail, experience managing large third-party events, proven client-facing skills, and ideally a background in financial services.
What you'll do:
- Plan and deliver conferences and industry events end-to-end, from concept through execution.
- Lead events independently or collaborate with teams on larger, more complex projects.
- Own budgets, negotiate supplier costs, and manage internal and external vendors.
What you bring
- 2 years of experience in event management or marketing, ideally within financial or professional services.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, third-party events and managing external vendors.
- Strong project management and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail (including payments and floor plans).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, concise messages to clients and stakeholders.
- Confident client-facing professional with high integrity and demonstrated leadership capability.
- Technically proficient and comfortable working across multiple systems and event technologies.
- Highly motivated and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
