Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for events and business development? The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is looking for an Events Market Development Lead to join our dynamic team and help us grow our corporate and agency event sales.
About The Role
As our Events Market Development Lead, you’ll take the lead in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth across corporate and agency sectors. You’ll proactively build and manage your own pipeline of prospects, develop strong client relationships, and deliver bespoke proposals that align with our sales strategy. What You’ll Do
- Drive revenue growth through proactive sales and new business generation.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
- Experience working with corporate clients, venue finding, and event agencies.
- Highly organised, commercially astute, and confident in contract negotiation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
An established network of contacts and knowledge of manufacturing or technical markets.
