How do you ensure an organisation remains compliant in one of the most complex and highly regulated international environments?
At the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), we're looking for an experienced Export Control Manager to lead and oversee our export control framework, ensuring compliance with UK and international legislation governing the transfer of nuclear-related information and technology.
The role
Reporting to the Head of International Strategy and Public Correspondence, you'll act as ONR's export control subject matter expert, managing our export licence portfolio and advising colleagues across the organisation on export control requirements, classification, licensing and compliance.
You'll build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments and external partners, while driving robust governance, systems and processes that embed best practice and ensure ongoing compliance. You'll also maintain up-to-date guidance and training, helping ONR respond proactively to changes in legislation and policy.
