Do you want to join Hyde as a Facilities Assistant? Do you want to make a real impact by helping us create safe, welcoming, and well‑run workplaces for our colleagues and visitors.

At Hyde, we’re looking for a proactive Facilities Assistant to join our Real Estate & Facilities team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our offices running smoothly, supporting day‑to‑day operations, customer service, safety, and compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Keeping office spaces clean, organised, accessible, and hazard‑free.
  • Assisting with maintenance tasks, statutory checks, and remedial works.
  • Supporting fire safety, first aid, emergency procedures, alarm testing, and evacuations.
  • Maintaining accurate facilities records, including budgets, floor plans, and space allocation.
  • Monitoring the Facilities Helpdesk and invoice inbox, ensuring requests are logged and resolved on time.
  • Raising purchase orders and supporting budget tracking.
  • Providing great customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Supervising contractors and escalating issues when needed.
  • Taking part in the on‑call rota for facilities‑related emergencies.

  • What You’ll Bring

    • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    • Great communication—written and verbal.
    • A proactive, customer‑focused approach to problem‑solving.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Some knowledge of facilities management principles is desirable (but not essential).
