Salary: £35,188 to £45,286 per annum plus pension, private medical & benefits package
Summary
Reporting to the Estates Manager, the Estates Coordinator is the accountable on-site representative for the day-to-day operational management of NCC’s Filton site. The Estates Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of soft and hard services, contractor management, security, landlord liaison and ensuring health & safety compliance.
The role plays a key part in maintaining building compliance, supporting Estates-led projects and ensuring the effective delivery of services across the site.
We’re building new facilities and performing increasingly complex work, this role would be the first Estates Coordinator looking after one of our old facilities that we will be looking to modernise.
You’ll work in a largely stand-alone capacity at this site while being part of a wider Estates team. Potential to grow in the role as the site and team develops.
Reporting into the Estates Manager, you’ll manage key relationships with the wider Estates team, landlords, University of Bristol, NCC staff & the health & safety Team.
Examples Of Specific Responsibilities Include
- Responsible for the management of Soft and Hard Services Coordination including being the accountable person on site, managing contractors, contractor compliance, implementing facilities management procedures and coordinating the on site security guards.
- Responsible for building information management & documentation systems.
- Supporting Landlords & acting as the site contact, including regular reviews, monitoring the service desk tickets, ensuring rapid response to reactive works and supporting the day to day site requirements.
- Supporting Health & Safety standards across site in line with regulatory standards, site compliance checks and acting as Fire Marshall/First Aider.
So, what are we looking for in your application?

- Demonstrable experience in a similar Estates, Facilities, or Site Coordinator role.
- Experience working in a warehouse, engineering, or technical environment (office experience considered if adaptable).
- Sound knowledge of contractor management and permit-to-work systems.
- H&S awareness and practical experience in compliance-led roles. Experience in conducting site and safety checks.
- Confidence to work without supervision
- Desirable – If you are First Aid or Fire Marshall trained that would be great! But please apply if you have the main points above.
