The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor with 1–3 years’ post-qualification experience to join a supportive and expanding team. The successful candidate will work on a varied caseload covering both privately funded and legally aided matters.
The role offers the chance to handle a broad range of family law issues, particularly those relating to children matters, divorce, and financial arrangements. The firm welcomes candidates with either a broad family law practice or those developing a particular specialism.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of family law matters including children issues, divorce proceedings, and financial remedy work.
- Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients on a range of family law matters.
- Conducting both private and legal aid work in accordance with regulatory and firm procedures.
- Ensuring files are progressed efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care.
- Keeping clients informed of progress, developments, and costs throughout their matter.
- Maintaining accurate time recording and working towards agreed billing targets.
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and contributing positively to the wider team.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 1–3 years’ PQE
