The Children and Families Department takes a strengths-based approach to working with each other, children, young people and families, and our partner agencies. We call this 'Our Nottinghamshire Approach'. Watch the two minute animation to learn more.
We have multiple exciting opportunities to join our Family Hub Teams in Nottinghamshire! As we expand our service offer from supporting children aged 0–5 to now include children and young people aged 0–18, we are looking for passionate and experienced individuals to join our growing teams. We are particularly keen to recruit candidates who have experience working with families who have children aged over 5 years and teenagers.
As a Family Support Practitioner, you will ensure that families with identified needs receive appropriate family support services within the home and community to ensure they get the right help at the right time from conception until their child reaches the age of 18 or 25 with SEND. You will deliver and review a range of family support services, one to one support, evidence-based parenting programmes and interventions within a defined locality to help keep children safe and help families thrive.
