We have a vacancy for a female support worker at our service in Connahs Quay in Flintshire. We have 2 positions of a 30 hour per week contract, and there are a variety of shift patterns including sleep ins, days, weekends and bank holidays and we are committed to work with you to ensure you have a great work life balance. This service supports 2 young people. Both have a zest for life, are sociable and enjoy various activities throughout the week either at home or out in their local community.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Put the people we support at the heart of everything you do treating them with dignity and respect.
- The ability to work calmly, efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Be IT confident and keep detailed and accurate records, carrying out all recording and reporting in a person-centred way.
- Hold a valid, clean UK driving licence and have your own car (essential).
- Model our five values in all your work activities (Passionate, Inclusive, Brave, Positive and Kind).
- Be flexible to work sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays.
Most of our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
We will consider flexible working or a particular working pattern that works for you but meets the needs of the people we support.
There is a non-contractual sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70. Mencap and our commitment to Safeguarding and Inclusivity
