Role overview
The Finance Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial data as GreenScale continues to scale its international platform.
Reporting to the Director of Accounting and working closely with the Senior Accounting Manager, this role sits at the core of the finance function, owning key elements of month-end close, financial control, and data integrity, while supporting the transition to a fully in-house finance model.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong focus on execution, attention to detail, and ownership, alongside the ability to operate with increasing independence. The role also provides exposure to group reporting and multi-entity operations, offering a strong development path within a growing, high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Own key elements of the month-end close process, including posting journals (accruals, prepayments, deferred income) and preparing supporting reconciliations. Ensure outputs are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. Support the Senior Accounting Manager in group reporting and consolidation activities.
Balance Sheet Integrity & Financial Control
Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies proactively, maintaining a high standard of financial control.
Payments & Compliance
Manage the end-to-end payment process, ensuring all disbursements follow internal approval processes and meet audit and compliance standards. Maintain a disciplined and well-controlled payments environment.
Systems & Data Management (NetSuite)
Maintain the integrity of financial data within NetSuite, including the Chart of Accounts and fixed asset register. Ensure consistency in how financial data is recorded and support ongoing system and process improvements.
Payroll, Intercompany & Audit Support
Process payroll journals and intercompany transactions to ensure accurate reporting across entities. Maintain organised supporting documentation and assist with audit preparation and queries.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Essential Skills & Experience
AAT qualified (or equivalent)
Strong hands-on experience in month-end close, including journals and reconciliations
Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Solid understanding of financial controls and core accounting principles
Proven ability to take ownership of processes and deliver high-quality outputs independently
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in a fast-paced or scaling business environment
Exposure to process improvement, finance transformation, or system implementation
Experience in a multi-entity or international business
