This role is based in Transformation Portfolio Office (TPO) Finance and Commercial team within Customer Compliance Group (CCG) Transformation Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as key liaison point between Finance and the business, building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with stakeholders within the business to help them understand their finances.
- Responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the tracking of financial insights and analysis (run rates, monthly variances, forecast movements, profile changes, capital and resource).
- Monitor and manage specific cost models developed for CCG programmes/projects and collaborate to ensure consistency of modelling and trackers across both the Finance and programme/project team.
- Leading on the completion of regular month-end activities such as transfers, recharges, accruals/prepayments etc.
- Develop a detailed understanding of your relevant CCG programmes/projects, supporting the SO and Grade 7 in their day-to-day role.
- Help build financial awareness amongst non-finance staff within the business and support self-service.
- Preparing financial information clearly and succinctly, such as monthly finance updates for stakeholders.
- Experience in working within a finance team or environment.
- Experience in working with Government accounting systems (SAP ERP, Oracle).
- Awareness of Government budgeting and financial principles.
