Avonmouth CE Primary School and Nursery is a welcoming and friendly school at the heart of the community of Avonmouth, Bristol.

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Assistant to join our Admin team.

The role is 20 hours per week. Term time only plus 5 inset days. The working pattern is negotiable, ideally, Monday or Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, we can be flexible and this can be discussed at interview.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Finance Administration
  • Placing orders for goods and services, receipting goods and paying invoices.
  • Issuing sales invoices and monitoring payment
  • Banking reconciliation
  • HR Administration
  • New Starters, Leavers & Contract Changes
  • Processing staff expenses claims, timesheets and staff absences.
  • Administration
  • Answering the telephone, greeting visitors
  • Office cover
  • Updating the school website
