Finance Business Partner

Our client, based in Portishead, is currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

The position is due to start in October on a part-time (25 hours) basis. The salary is £35,437 pro rata (£52,448 FTE) and they are happy to offer a flexible hybrid working pattern, dependent on business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Finance Business Partner and be confident challenging budget holders when required to ensure value for money across the business.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing a timely, accurate and relevant business partnering service to budget holders and customers
• Ensuring the delivery of monthly management reporting packs including commentary and detailed variance analysis
• Providing a comprehensive proactive service to budget holders to assist and enable them to analyse, and investigate variances, and to suggest remedial actions
• Promoting VFM across all financial decision making and analysis
• Collating and producing quarterly forecasts, including the review and challenge of budget holder’s assumptions
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts for designated areas and ensuring all relevant balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner

Experience required:

• Experience required in a Not-for-Profit setting is desirable but not essential

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience
