About The Job
The Finance Co-ordinator is a member of the NIHR BioResource Business team, and works closely with business and finance colleagues to support the smooth and timely implementation of new contracts, including new supplier set-up and compliance with University Financial Regulations.
The role supports purchasing activities of the NIHR BioResource, including purchase ordering, checking and processing of expense claims to ready them for approval, as well as production and review of monthly finance reports, including reports for each NIHR BioResource team.
The NIHR BioResource holds agreements with a number of external partners: a range public and private sector organisations, including NHS organisations, external research groups and institutes, and commercial research and healthcare organisations. The role manages all aspects of the day-to-day financial arrangements relating to these agreements.
About You
Ideally you will have:
~ Experience in using standard Microsoft Office packages particularly excel.
~ Excellent communication skills
~ Experience of using relevant reporting tools
