Mondrian Alpha are partnering with a highly regarded investment and advisory firm who are seeking to appoint a Finance Director to join their lean-high performing team supporting their entrepreneurial founder.
The firm operates across a broad portfolio of investments, businesses and strategic projects, providing sophisticated support to a complex and evolving set of investment activities spanning multiple jurisdictions and asset classes. This is a newly created role sitting at the intersection of finance, investment oversight and strategic decision support. This role will work closely with senior leadership and the successful candidate will be an advisor, helping provide clear financial visibility across a diverse range of activities, ensuring key stakeholders and the founder have access to accurate, timely and commercially meaningful information.
The position is well suited to individuals who come from the family office sector. It is not a traditional Head of Finance role running an accounting function, but rather sitting close to the founder and making sense of broad and fast-changing investment activities. The ideal candidate will be ACA/CFA (10+ years' PQE) qualified, with experience in corporate finance, investment analysis and with exposure to private equity, direct investments, and real estate. The role requires someone who combines strong technical capability with commercial judgement, and someone comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role (2 days in office), with some travel requirements. The firm is offering up to £180k base salary + competitive bonus and generous benefits.
