Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Finance Executive - Accounts Payable to be based London, UK.
The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting Red Bull’s accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department. This role is crucial in ensuring that Red Bull’s financial obligations are met promptly and accurately.
You will be a contributor to the development of the Accounts Payable Team, Purchase to Pay (P2C) cycle, the wider business and yourself. You will do this by maintaining a high quality and professional purchase ledger function, bringing accounts payable to life through a philosophy of active business partnering and personal development.
The role Is also required to engage in initiatives and projects outside of the traditional AP environment, supporting Treasury, Financial Accounting, Controlling and Commercial Finance functions.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Day to Day
Preparation of payment runs, proforma and ad-hoc payments. Deal with supplier queries and be accountable for resolution of any issues that arise in the course of business, both via email and over the phone. Process invoices from suppliers promptly, ensuring that suppliers are paid to terms. Ensure that all invoices are matched to purchase order receipts or other records of authorisation prior to payment. Ensure direct debit/proforma payments invoices are received and matched against payments. Ensure all undisputed creditor invoices being paid within agreed payment credit terms. Manage employee expenses, ensuring internal policies are adhered to at all times.
Monthly
Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all invoices have been input on the purchase ledger. Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations. Period end analysis and review of all payables activity, looking to optimise and develop our processes at all times.
Reporting
Generate detailed accounts payable reports, including aging reports, payment forecasts, and cash flow analyses. Prepare periodic reporting to support financial planning and analysis. Collaborate with the wider finance team to provide insights and recommendations based on accounts payable data. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to accounts payable and report on trends and variances. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings by providing accurate and timely accounts payable information.
