Location: Ross-on-Wye

Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum ( DoE and Qualifications)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week

Reports To

The Finance Integrations Lead will take end-to-end ownership of finance integration activity across the Group, with a particular focus on integrating acquired businesses into a single back-office finance system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).

What Youll Do

Systems & Data Migration

  • Direct Ownership: Lead the end-to-end migration of entities onto D365 Business Central , including COA mapping, data cleansing, and opening balance reconciliations.
  • Technical Authority: Act as the primary decision-maker and escalation point between finance users, IT specialists, and external implementation partners.
  • Stabilization: Manage the critical "cutover" period and provide post-go-live support to ensure system stability.

Process Design & Control

  • Standardization: Challenge legacy workflows to implement consistent Group processes for AP/AR, revenue recognition, and month-end close.
  • Governance: Design and enforce robust financial controls, audit trails, and appropriate segregation of duties across all integrated units.
  • Hands-on Support: Personally guide entity finance teams through their first month-end close cycle post-integration.

  • Treasury & Structural Change

    • Banking Transition: Manage the set-up, closure, and mandate changes for bank accounts, ensuring full cash visibility across the Group.
    • Corporate Restructuring: Lead finance workstreams for legal entity mergers, liquidations of dormant companies, and post-acquisition restructuring.

    Project Leadership & Strategy

    • Integration Playbooks: Own and evolve the "Finance Integration Blueprint," capturing lessons learned to create a repeatable, scalable model for future M&A.
    • Stakeholder Management: Influence senior leadership to secure resources and provide solution-oriented updates on integration milestones.
    • Risk Management: Perform "Go/No-Go" readiness assessments and intervene directly to unblock project dependencies.

    Technical Qualifications & Experience

    • Qualified Finance Professional: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) with a strong foundation in technical accounting.
    • M&A & Integration Specialist: Proven track record of delivering "hands-on" finance integrations within multi-entity or PE-backed environments.
    • ERP Expert: Direct experience migrating entities onto ERP systems Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly advantageous.
    • Systems & Data Savvy: Advanced Excel skills and a natural aptitude for data analysis, mapping, and complex reconciliations.
    • Process Architect: Experience redesigning finance operations, controls, and reporting frameworks during periods of transformation.
