A vital part of your remit will be ensuring the ongoing development and motivation of the finance team to support the needs of the wider business.
Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with between one and three years of post‑qualification experience. You will bring a strong technical accounting background and the confidence to lead, coach and motivate a team. Excellent communication skills will be essential, as you will need to work closely with both internal colleagues and external auditors, offering clear advice and insight where required.
You will have a solid understanding of company taxes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret complex financial information. The role requires someone who can work methodically, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines without compromising on quality. You will be comfortable working with ERP systems and highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Above all, you will be committed to maintaining high standards, fostering strong working relationships and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
