We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a growing team in Andover.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role supports company growth, overseeing financial operations, delivering insightful financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
Responsibilities:
- Month-End Process Ownership: Lead and ensure timely and accurate completion of the month-end close process.
- Statutory Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of compliant statutory accounts.
- VAT Returns: Ensure timely and accurate VAT submissions in compliance with HMRC requirements.
- Control Accounts & Payroll: Maintain precise control accounts and handle payroll-related financial transactions effectively.
- Full ownership of the Purchase ledger function ensuring smooth operation and full compliance with business KPI’s
- Segmental Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed analysis across four workstreams, identifying trends and opportunities through variance analysis.
- Management Information Pack: Support the creation of clear, concise management reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar Finance Manager or Management Accountant role in a fast-paced, growing business.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory account preparation.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in Excel and financial management software.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to present complex financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
This is a full time onsite permanent role offering £50,000 - £60,000 DOE and free on-site parking.
