Tasks
- STRABAG UK is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our Build and Industrial & Logistical division. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial management and performance of a diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects across the UK.
- Working closely with operational leadership and project teams, the Finance Manager will provide strategic financial insight, ensure robust financial control, and drive accurate reporting to support informed decision-making.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial discipline, enhancing profitability, and supporting the continued growth of the division through strong business partnering and proactive financial management.
- Finance Business Partner/lead for Area/BU
- Project Accounting – Ensure actual costs are accurate in value and code structure (WBS/CBS)
- Month-end – Cost transfers, Subcontract Liabilities, Staff, Plant
- Financial reporting and forecasting of cost and cash (Sterling and Euro)
- Financial control, Governance, segregation of duties & process flows
- Good experience as a PQE Accountant with a recognised professional body (ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA)
