Job Purpose
Assisting and supporting the Senior Sigma Law Specialist and Sigma Lawyer on a range of banking and finance matters and other ad hoc legal tasks across the team.

The Role
Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Working closely with Associates and Partners across the Banking and Finance team.
- Conducting the funds DD and related activities.
- Creating, managing virtual data rooms and supporting deals by drafting documentation.
- Conducting Companies House filing and search reports including winding up search reports.
- Drafting and updating CP checklists and ancillary documents such as corporate authorisations.
- Preparing Bibles and conducting the live deals in Closings.
- Working and collaborating with the legal engineering team on current technology.
- Checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content.
- Identifying opportunities to improve legal processes and articulating the case for making the change.
- Assisting with ad hoc administrative and legal tasks under instruction.
- Ensure efficient practices and provide feedback to managers on where improvements can be made.
- Works flexibly and actively seeks opportunities to learn new legal processes.
- All adhoc banking and fund finance work.
Performance Improvement
- Provide feedback and identify opportunities for improvement of processes or the use of technology.
- As a team, work with your manager to design initiatives that will drive measurable improvements in quality, speed and efficiency.
- Welcomes mistakes or errors as opportunities for improving business processes.
Experience
- Ideally 12 months plus experience as a paralegal in a banking and finance team.
- Experience of building credibility and trust with a diverse and challenging business stakeholder group.
Skills And Attributes
