Company Overview
You will be joining a world-renowned Media and Broadcasting business as their Finance Process Specialist (Record-to-Report, RTR) on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. You will be part of their continuous improvement team, working to support the delivery of several critical projects. The business has multiple offices across the UK so they are flexible on the location of the candidate but you will be required to attend the office 1 day a week.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the Global Process Owners and ARCS project lead in embedding new reconciliation processes and ensuring the successful roll-out of the ARCS tool across the wider business. You will support with the design and implementation of robust new processes for reconciling inter-company balances, supporting the resolution of long-standing complexities. You will drive a number of smaller initiatives across the journal process, projects and receipt accounting to reduce manual effort and improve overall month-end speed. You will maintain high-quality Standard Operating Procedures and user guides for all new system modules and workflows. You will facilitate workshops and collaborate with the Finance Operations and Tech teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Role Requirements
You will need to have proven expertise in RTR processes, including month-end close and reconciliations. ideally, you will have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, specifically within the General Ledger. You will have demonstrable experience in process improvement, including process mapping and implementing system-driven automation. You will have excellent project coordination skills, with experience managing multiple moving parts of workstreams simultaneously. You will be a strong communicator with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to all tasks. You will have the confidence to translate technical system changes into simple and actionable steps for the wider Finance team. You will possess a natural desire to understand the "why" behind the company's data and processes.

You will receive an annual salary of up to £54,000 + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
