Role: Finance Analyst
Length: 12 month FTC
Salary: £42k DOE
About the Role
Support the Financial Controller with monthly management accounts and month-end reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts
- Help produce key financial reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and cost tracking
- Prepare basic journals and assist with reconciliations (including intercompany and balance sheet items)
- Support cash collection tracking and follow up on outstanding actions
- Assist in producing intercompany recharge invoices and ad-hoc billing
- Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting outputs
- Support ongoing process improvements and system efficiency initiatives
- Carry out ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required
Qualifications
- Part-qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
Required Skills
- Around 1–2 years’ experience in a finance
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Experience or exposure to SAP (essential) and other finance systems is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines with guidance
- Proactive attitude and interest in improving processes
