Job Description

We’re seeking an ambitious individual to join our Financial Planning team in Edinburgh. which is responsible for providing full administrative support to Financial Planners, ensuring client satisfaction through direct contact with clients, and other operational colleagues, while adhering to regulatory standards.

This role will have a full time office requirement for the first 6 months over probation then after successful review will move to a hybrid model of 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.

As a Client Administrator , your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client enquiries, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to financial planners, including scheduling and coordinating client meetings
  • Prepare and process client documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements while updating and maintaining CRM system with precise and timely information.
  • Manage client onboarding processes, including preparing meeting packs and processing Letters of Authority
  • Prepare client reports and handle withdrawal and drawdown requests efficiently
  • Support the financial planning team in various administrative tasks to enhance overall productivity and client satisfaction

Qualifications

  • National 5 (N5) Grade C or above in Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE)
  • Previous client administrative experience working within financial services
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Understanding of financial planning and wealth management processes/ products
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic financial services environment
