The Fire Safety Advisor will be accountable to the Fire Safety Manager on matters of fire safety. They will provide support for the Fire Safety Manager in their goal to achieve Trust-wide Fire Safety Compliance.

Bachelors Degree in Fire Safety / Engineering / Built environment, facilities, management, or similar relevant degree. or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through courses and experience.

A Fire Safety or Health and Safety qualification (Level 3) with a relevant background in Risk or Fire Safety management.

Level 3 award in education and training.

Fire Service background or considerable experience of working in a Fire Safety team, and environment.

Evidence of continuing professional and personal development

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Experience in the application of Fire Safety legislation, especially HTM-05 within an NHS organisation.

Experience in the development and facilitation of training programmes
