THE OPPORTUNITY:
Are you a fire safety expert with a passion for risk assessment and compliance? We’re looking for a dedicated Fire Safety Officer to take a hands-on role in ensuring fire safety across our operations.
This is a varied and dynamic position where you’ll be responsible for advising, implementing, and developing best fire safety practices. You’ll work collaboratively with teams across the business, playing a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring that our high company standards and legal compliance are consistently upheld.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
In this varied and hands-on role, you will:
- Act as the subject matter expert for fire safety across the site
- Conduct Fire Risk Assessments and provide clear, practical recommendations
- Develop and continuously improve fire safety strategies, policies, and procedures
- Lead fire emergency planning, including drills, evacuation strategies, and reviews
- Carry out fire door inspections and support compartmentation surveys
- Deliver engaging fire safety training to raise awareness and build confidence
- Collaborate with teams across the business to embed best practice into daily operations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience within a Health & Safety role, with strong fire safety knowledge
- Fire Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of fire safety legislation and best practice
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels of the business
- Ability to work independently while building strong working relationships
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
