About the role
As the Fleet Coordinator at Splend, your core responsibility is to keep vehicles on the road and reduce VOR (Vehicle Off-Road) time. You’ll do this through hands-on vehicle coordination, site-level logistics, supplier relationship management, and process ownership. You’ll be the operational backbone of our Cricklewood hub - making sure customer and sales vehicles are where they need to be, when they need to be, and in roadworthy condition.
This is a dynamic, physical, and fast-paced role, with daily movement of vehicles and regular problem-solving to ensure everything runs smoothly across our growing multi-site operation.
Coordinate vehicle logistics through moving cars daily between dealers, body shops, MOT centres, and sites to keep operations flowing.
Organise and manage yard layout and oversee site-to-site transfers to support multi-site operations.
Inspect vehicles regularly and reporting damage or safety issues. Log everything and follow up to make sure it gets resolved.
Validate vehicle status updates by maintaining system records in sync with real-world car locations and status.
Manage servicing and MOT bookings. Scheduling cars in with our partners and make sure they’re prepped, moved, and returned on time.
Install and manage tracking units (Geotab), support customer setups, and troubleshoot as needed.
Prepare vehicles for customer use, making sure cars are clean, charged, safe, and ready to hand over.
Manage and maintain key storage and control vehicle documents such as MOTs and V5Cs.
Support internal stakeholder teams to solve problems and keep vehicles moving.
Proven track record in vehicle operations, ideally in a fleet or PCO environment.
Able to manage multiple workflows, coordinate moving parts, and keep things running smoothly.
You will have high energy and strong work ethic bringing positivity, and a hands-on attitude. Being a team player and always ready to pitch in to support others.
You take proactive ownership of problems and flag issues early.
You’ll have exceptional attention to detail. Noticing things like worn tyres, missing keys, or the wrong document before anyone else.
Comfortable using Geotab, spreadsheets, systems, and working directly with vehicles.
Confident dealing with teammates, suppliers, and drivers — in person and over the phone.
A Full UK licence required. You’ll be based at our Cricklewood Hub.
