Description
As a Flight Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the accurate, timely and secure delivery ofinflight catering services to aircraft. This role serves as the key liaisonbetween Newrest and airline staff, ensuring that all food, beverages, equipmentand special meal requests are handed over according to airline specificationsand within tight operational timelines.
You will play acritical role in maintaining service quality, compliance with aviation safety,hygiene standards and supporting a seamless inflight experience for airlinepassengers and crew.
Hours: 40 hours – 5 on 3 off shift pattern.
Shift Times: Some 3.00 am starts and finish times up to 21.30 pm.
Rate: £15.75per hour.
Location: Gatwick.
ContractType: Full time – Permanent.
You must beflexible to work shifts as operations run seven days a week requirement(including evenings and public holidays), you will be required to extend shiftsdepending on airside operational requirements.

- Conduct daily tasks in accordance withNewrest’s client and civil aviation authority compliance requirements.
- Plan, coordinate daily tasks before thestart of each shift and work with internal colleagues to meet daily deadlines.
- Ensure all in-flight meals, specialmeals, beverages and equipment are assembled and loaded in accordance withclient flight loading specifications and inflight orders.
- Ensure all completed carts/trollies arepacked in line with airline standards and maintained at appropriatetemperatures (hot/cold) prior to delivery.
- Seal all carts/trollies ready fordispatch, in line with CAA requirements.
- Must have a full Manual UK drivinglicense with under 6 points.
- Previousexperience in airline catering, logistics, or customer service is preferred butnot essential.
- Ateam player who can effectively manage conflicting priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment without sacrificing quality.
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Physicallyfit and capable of working at heights, indoor fridge temperatures around 10degrees, all outdoor weather conditions and fast-paced environments.
- Lift and/or push up to 25kg.
