The Role: FLIGHT TECHNICAL TRAINER -BOEING
We’re looking for an experienced Flight Technical Trainer / Theoretical Knowledge Instructor (TKI) to join our British Airways Approved Training Organisation (BA ATO).
In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality, aircraft‑specific theoretical knowledge and technical training, supporting flight crew competence, examination success and safe line operations. Working within an approved regulatory framework, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our training remains compliant, consistent and operationally relevant.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering aircraft‑specific technical, procedural and performance training, primarily within a simulator‑based environment. You’ll ensure training delivery aligns with approved regulatory syllabi, BA SOPs and current operational practice, and that learner progress is effectively monitored and supported.

- Delivering aircraft‑specific technical ground school and simulator‑based training in line with BA ATO and UK CAA requirements.
- You’ll bring strong technical credibility, a passion for learning and a commitment to regulatory excellence.
- You’ll be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational environment and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders
- A strong technical grounding in aircraft systems and their operational application
- Professional background acceptable to the UK CAA
- Experience delivering technical systems or theoretical knowledge training
- Sound understanding of ATO requirements and UK CAA/EASA Part‑FCL compliance
- The ability to translate regulatory and competency frameworks into effective training delivery
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Experience as a commercial pilot, flight engineer, licensed engineer, flight operations officer or equivalent aeronautical engineering background is essential.
