Costain are working with Anglian Water on their new Reservoirs Programme to support progression of 2 huge new reservoirs through DCO (Govt Approval). We are primarily acting as Anglian Water's Principal Contractor under CDM for the extensive site investigation works and have fantastic opportunities for individuals looking to join our growing delivery team, working predominantly across Sleaford (Lincolnshire), Chatteris (Cambridgeshire) and Peterborough
To safely manage people and all operational activities on a small project ensuring HSQE, budget and programmes are met

This is site based role
Responsibilities
- Delivery of site inductions, daily site briefings and safety briefings to framework contractor site personnel covering appropriate health, safety and environmental topics and ensure records of briefings are maintained
- Ensure that all works are properly planned and carried out in safe and controlled manner and in a cost-efficient manner
- Coordinate vehicle and plant movements on site ensuring pedestrian segregation
- Promote a healthy safety culture on site, challenging behaviours and promoting good practice
- Construction industry experience
- Previous water industry experience
- Experience of working on large complex sites
- Experience of supervising sub-contractors
- Understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques
- Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Supervisors Card
- EUSR National Water Hygiene Standards ‘Blue Card’
- First Aid at Work
- New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Supervisors
- Full UK Driving Licence
