About the role
Wipro is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (Generative AI) to help clients adopt and scale real, production‑grade GenAI solutions. In this hands‑on, customer‑facing role, you embed within client teams to understand their domain, rapidly prototype solutions, and take deployments from proof‑of‑concept to stable release—with measurable impact.
You enjoy working in fast‑moving environments, collaborating closely with engineers and stakeholders, and building systems that are robust, secure, and usable.
What you’ll be doing
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will:
- Help clients integrate and adopt GenAI offerings, demonstrating outcomes such as KPI improvements
- Embed within the client landscape to understand their domain and co‑develop solutions with core engineering teams
- Own technical delivery across multiple deployments from prototype to stable release
- Build bespoke AI and agentic AI solutions (RAG, multi‑agent workflows, fine‑tuning where needed)
- Troubleshoot complex issues through technical debugging and root cause analysis
- Rapidly prototype to validate value and de‑risk delivery
- Implement best practices across engineering, reliability, and delivery
What you bring
You have strong experience in:
- Building GenAI applications (RAG, multi‑agent systems, fine‑tuning) using tools such as LangChain and LangGraph
- Working with LLMs and understanding protocols such as Model Context Protocols, A2A protocols, and agent development tooling
- Deploying production‑grade GenAI/ML solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP, including evaluation and optimisation
- Data science and ML tooling (pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch or similar)
Nice to have (but not essential)
- Experience with Copilot/agent integrations, plugins/connectors, or enterprise LLM platform patterns
- Strong familiarity with observability practices and evaluation frameworks for GenAI systems
