About the business

The role

Reporting into a Commercial Finance lead, the FP&A Analyst will play a key role in financial modelling, forecasting, reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and developing detailed three-statement financial models to support monthly re-forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Partnering with budget owners and senior stakeholders across the business to provide insight on performance versus budget and support investment decisions.
  • Preparing monthly reporting packs for the Executive team and Board.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and analysis in Power BI, implementing scalable and high-impact processes.
  • Business partnering with sales, product, and operations teams to deliver strategic insight and operational improvements.


Requirements

  • Strong intellectual capability with the ability to quickly understand business dynamics and add value.
  • Excellent attention to detail, alongside the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Comfort working with large datasets and business systems; experience with tools such as Power BI and CRM systems advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across finance and the wider business.
  • A proactive and inquisitive mindset, with the confidence to identify risks and opportunities and contribute to strategic discussions.
  • A genuine interest in technology-led, recurring revenue business models.
  • Ambition to develop best-in-class financial modelling and reporting skills, with curiosity around emerging technologies such as AI.


Experience

  • Newly qualified accountant, trained within a Big 4 or similar environment
  • Strong academic background and a clear record of progression.
