Join our Commercial team in Waterlooville as a Framework Estimator and help drive our projects forward.

What you'll be doing


You will be responsible for receiving, managing, processing and submitting tenders and quotations through existing framework contracts, as well as supporting the Quantity Surveyors with pricing significant Variations.



  • Receive enquiries and tenders for works through framework contracts.
  • Complete a BRMR (Bid Risk Management Record) form and comply with the BRMR process requirements for sign off approval.
  • Co-ordinate and manage the tender process; arranging an initial start-up meeting, ensuring the correct resource is allocated, setting a tender programme and list of actions, liaising with key stakeholders through the tender process, and ensuring tender outputs are achieved and deadlines are met.
  • Undertake scoping visits.
  • Obtain prices for any surveys or investigations required in order to assist development of the Scope.
  • Assess the requirements for temporary works, method related works, and preliminary items in co-ordination with Delivery colleagues (Project Manager / Site Co-ordinator).
  • Produce the Price in accordance with the contract and the Framework Schedule of Rates.
  • Where scope items are not covered by agreed framework rates, price items from first principles.
  • Produce a cost budget for each quotation/tender to calculate gross margin forecast.

  • Who we're looking for


    • Relevant degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, construction related discipline, or significant work experience.
    • Experience of pricing works to NEC contracts.
    • Experience of pricing works from first principles.
    • Excellent communication skills to liaise with other team members, clients and Possess strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel.
