Location: Mayfair, London
Day rate: up to £380 per day (outside IR35)
Duration: 12 Months
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Design Project Manager (PM / Senior PM level) to join a flagship ultra-prime residential development in Mayfair.
This is an urgent requirement to support delivery on one of the most prestigious high-end residential schemes in the UK, working across a number of complex, design-led packages within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
The Project
A landmark super-prime residential redevelopment in central London, delivering a collection of ultra-luxury apartments and penthouses alongside world-class amenities.
You will be working across all packages, ensuring design coordination, quality, and delivery are aligned with the exceptionally high standards expected on a project of this calibre.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate design delivery across multiple high-value packages
- Act as a key interface between client, consultants, and contractor teams
- Drive design coordination to ensure alignment with programme, budget, and quality expectations
- Review design information, drawings, and technical documentation
- Identify and manage design risks, issues, and interfaces across packages
- Attend and lead design meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure design intent is maintained through to delivery on site
- Support the wider project team in achieving programme milestones
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, ideally with a strong design or architectural background
- Experience working on high-end residential, hospitality, or luxury fit-out projects
- Strong design management and coordination experience
- Confident working in a highly client-facing environment
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on complex, detail-driven projects with premium finishes
