Location: Remote with some occasional client-side visits.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to support the delivery and enhancement of secure, user-centred digital services in a regulated public-sector environment.
The role will involve developing and maintaining Drupal-based platforms, integrating SuiteCRM, building secure REST APIs, and supporting the evolution of cloud-native architecture. The successful candidate will work within multi-disciplinary agile squads alongside product managers, service designers, QA specialists and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Drupal applications, including custom module development
- Customise and integrate SuiteCRM in production environments
- Design and build secure RESTful APIs
- Implement secure authentication patterns (OAuth2, JWT)
- Develop backend services using PHP and C#
- Integrate with UK Government platforms (e.g. One Login, Notify, Forms)
- Embed observability, logging and monitoring capabilities
- Apply secure coding practices aligned to OWASP
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment models
- Collaborate within agile sprint cycles (planning, stand-ups, retros)
- Ensure compliance with Government Service Standard and WCAG 2.2 AA
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience in PHP development, including custom Drupal module development
- Strong experience with Drupal (production configuration and extension)
- Experience developing secure applications in C#
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Azure cloud services
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates or Terraform)
- CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Containerisation (Docker / Azure Container Apps)
- Experience integrating Carbon Design System or similar component libraries
- Experience working in regulated or high-assurance environments
