Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Leaning)

London - 5 Days Per Week In Office

Salaries between £80,000 - £160,000 (Potentially More) + Equity


This is a rare chance to join a high‑growth, AI‑driven legal technology scale‑up building products used daily by thousands of professionals. You will shape core engineering foundations, ship product at pace, and help define how advanced AI is delivered through intuitive, high‑impact interfaces.

The Role

In this Full Stack Engineer position, you will:

• Build and scale backend foundations that support a complex, global user base.

• Develop human‑centred UI components in React to bring sophisticated AI capabilities to life.

• Collaborate closely with engineering leaders to translate customer needs into product features.

• Work end‑to‑end across the stack, ensuring seamless, robust, and performant delivery.

• Contribute to engineering culture and play a key role in shaping a high‑performing technical team.

• Drive iteration speed, working onsite with the founding team to ship improvements daily.

• Integrate and customise advanced WYSIWYG editors to support heavy‑duty legal drafting workflows.


Your Skills and Experience

You will bring:

• Strong commercial experience with Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.

• High capability in modern frontend development with React and TypeScript.

• Ability to work across backend systems using FastAPI, Postgres, and AWS‑based infrastructure.

• A strong academic background in a technical field.

• Confidence operating in a fast‑paced, onsite and highly collaborative engineering environment.

• A product‑focused mindset and the ability to turn complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.
