Description
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer, with strong front-end skills, to join one of our Product based, cross-functional delivery teams in Cardiff. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Inspiretec you will work on product-based development for our clients in the travel sector, as well as internal R&D. You will work as part of a Scrum team implementing our functional and technology roadmap for the leisure travel industry in the UK and internationally.
Our application stack is built around Microsoft tooling, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET 4.8, AngularJS/React, Microsoft SQL Server, WCF/WebAPI and ASP.NET MVC. Our development methodology is largely based on an agile approach through software design, implementation and project management techniques.

The Role:
- Design, code, test and document new features and system components, using agreed standards and tools. Conduct reviews of requirements and specifications and contribute to code and design reviews
- Work with product owners, testers, analysts and architects within an Agile team to deliver application features end-to-end
- Undertake analysis and design of new features and contribute to the analysis and design of larger systems
- Experience of C# and the .Net platform
- Proven experience in modern front-end JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS / React
- XML & web services
- SQL Server
- Clear and strong communication of ideas
- A self-motivated mind-set with a desire to solve problems
- Willingness and confidence to speak directly with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Any prior experience in, or interest in the opportunity to learn Java is desirable
- Interests in other fields, whether it’s web design, blogging, VR or travel
