We are partnering with a highly exclusive Private Equity firm helping them hire a Fund Accounting and Performance Analyst into a broad and progressive role offering full exposure across the business. The position will work closely with the CEO, CIO, and other investment professionals, focused on fund accounting, valuations, and performance reporting, as well as supporting with some group finance, operations, treasury work.
This is a broad and dynamic position within a collaborative environment, working directly with the investment team. Given the boutique nature of the firm, the role is broad, covering a range of fund finance responsibilities and some firm finance work. They heavily outsource the work, so the focus will be on managing this relationship and reviewing work vs doing a lot of granular work. The role also covers analysing the assets within the portfolio, giving a full end-to-end view of the investment portfolio. The firm is planning to scale and so over time, they are looking to launch new investment vehicles and bring on 3rd party money (as currently it is all proprietary money). With this growth, there will be projects around digitalising the non-investment function and enhancing their systems.
For this, we are looking for highly analytical, ambitious accountants (2-6 years of experience) who are interested in joining a boutique private equity firm. It is important to have knowledge of DCF modelling, waterfall calculations, and private equity fund reporting.
The firm offers strong compensation (up to £75K depending on experience), with bonuses for non-investment staff regularly reaching 50%. The role will be based in their modern London offices and they operate a hybrid working model (1 day WFH with flexibility when needed). The team has a highly collaborative working environment with low turnover.
