As we enter an exciting period of growth, we are seeking a Global Design Project Manager. The Global Design Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering design and visual merchandising (VM) projects across Roja London. This will include managing all design briefs related to new product development, packaging, VM in stores as well as online, briefing designers and managing their outputs. Project stakeholders include internal as well as external contacts such as the Distributor Brand Manager and Contractor, and the External Designer and Agency.
This role is key to the success of deliverables and will act as an interface between various functions. It will suit an individual with a can-do attitude who is flexible, adaptable and willing to roll up their sleeves and help us to achieve our ambitious goals.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact for the Design team, taking overall design direction from the CEO.
- Coordinate the development and rollout of design and visual merchandising projects
- Consolidate inputs from creative, brand, operations and architectural teams into clear project plans, timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate the rollout of visual merchandising concepts for product launches (windows, podiums, POS) across distribution networks
- Support the development and delivery of POSM and VM tools, from design through production, including prototypes and testing
- Ensure all executions respect global brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
- Track project budgets related to design execution, flagging risks and variances.
- Facilitate communication, approvals and resolution of issues across stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good standard of Education
- Degree in Design and Creative, Graphic design or a related discipline would be useful
- 5 or more years’ experience in Design, visual merchandising or project coordination within the luxury retail sector
- Strong project management, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
- Luxury retail experience desirable
