Job Title: Global Trade Marketing Manager (12 Months Maternity Cover)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: London, 4 days a week in the office - 1 day working from home.

About the role

Our amazing Sophia is going on maternity leave, and we are looking for a cover for 12 months. We are at a rapid expansion phase, and this individual will play an instrumental role in helping us growing our brand footprint globally. In addition to leading Trade Marketing initiatives globally for key retailers, this role also owns brand management for the largest brand. Supported by the line manager, SVP of Marketing & DTC, and great colleagues, this will be an exciting year full of opportunity to make a difference.


Key Responsibilities


Trade Marketing

  • Together with our distributors, retailers, and agency partners, deliver in-store excellence driving trial and sales.
  • In collaboration with account managers and customers, craft strong promotion and marketing plans driving sell-in and sell-out.
  • Support the Sales Account Managers with negotiation for premium space and display extensions to enhance product visibility and shopper engagement.

  • Brand Strategy, Planning & Execution

    • Work with the SVP developing strong strategies and plans for growth that are approved by the master brand owners (licensors).
    • Implement agreed plans and activity with retail partners, distributors, subsidiary teams and owned channel owners (social, DTC & Amazon).
    • Work with channel owners and agency/freelance partners delivering strong communication programmes across Owned, Earned & Paid.
    • Manage the A&P budgets, analyse spend efficiencies and brand contribution.
    • Track and analyse ROI on campaigns & promotions, making data-driven recommendations.


    Brand Guardian

    • Manage all brand assets making sure that they are all 100% on brand and has been approved by the master brand owners (licensors).
    • Make sure that brand guidelines are up to date and shared with key stakeholders.
  • Brief our retained creative agency and other content providers in collaboration with owned channel owners (social, DTC & Amazon), agencies, account managers, distributors, subsidiary teams.

  • Product Development & Portfolio management

    • Lead all the product development for the brand within the remit in close collaboration with the creative agency, fragrance producers, licensors and operations team.
    • Manage the brand portfolio driving sales and cost efficiencies.


    Key Skills & Profile

    • Broad skills across the marketing mix, particularly Trade Marketing,
    • Solid experience of the Beauty Category and ideally in Fragrance.
    • Proactive and autonomous with a can-do-attitude.
    • Strong verbal and written communicator with great presentation skills.
    • Excellent command of PowerPoint and Canva.
    • Strong commercial acumen.
    • Analytical with a creative flair.
    • Highly organised team player, flexible and able to handle multiple. activities/priorities, and work efficiently and effectively.
    • Dynamic and assertive with ability to work with people at all levels.
