Job Summary
Langan is seeking a
Graduate Engineering Geologist to join its growing and collaborative team in
London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to develop a strong foundation in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering, working alongside experienced professionals on a wide range of projects including high-rise developments, infrastructure, energy, logistics, and residential schemes within the UK and overseas.
The role combines site-based work, data interpretation, and office-based reporting and analysis, offering broad exposure across the full project lifecycle - from feasibility and ground investigation through to design support and construction.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and execution of ground investigations; develop conceptual ground models based on existing information and prepare project-specific ground investigation strategies, produce ground investigation specifications along with Bill of Quantities, supervise and/ or carry out borehole and trial pit logging, select soil and rock samples for laboratory testing, and carry out in-situ testing and site observations;
