The Vacancy
Structural Soils part of the RSK Group are looking for an experienced and ambitious Ground Investigation Engineer to join their team in Bristol, UK.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity and you will be joining a knowledgeable and talented team. You will be expected to assist in the delivery of geotechnical projects and will therefore be able to demonstrate technical, commercial and site management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Structural Soils part of the RSK Group are looking for an experienced and ambitious Ground Investigation Engineer to join their team in Bristol, UK.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity and you will be joining a knowledgeable and talented team. You will be expected to assist in the delivery of geotechnical projects and will therefore be able to demonstrate technical, commercial and site management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking Phase 1 desk studies
- Liaising with clients, engineering supervisors and subcontractors
- Setting up and organising ground investigation works
- Supervising intrusive investigation activities such as drilling, trial pitting and in-situ testing
- Soil and rock logging and laboratory scheduling
- Processing field and laboratory results
- Report writing
- BSc degree level qualified in geology/civil engineering or a related environmental subject essential
- Previous UK ground investigation site experience is essential.
