Eton Bridge Partners have been retained to appoint a Group Financial Controller for an established, family owned construction, infrastructure & energy services business that that is experiencing strong continued growth. This organisation is known for its strong values and collaborative culture, and is currently undertaking an exciting transformation. The company has recently received major financial investment to upgrade new system capabilities as the business looks to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate, timely statutory and management reporting
- Maintain robust financial controls, policies, and compliance frameworks
- Oversee group consolidation and general ledger integrity
- Manage audit processes and external reporting requirements
- Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes
- Support ERP optimisation and wider digital transformation initiatives
- Oversee revenue recognition within a project-based environment
- Lead, develop, and strengthen a high-performing finance team
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in a senior financial control or group reporting role
- Strong technical accounting expertise and audit exposure
- Experience operating within complex, multi-entity or project-led businesses
- Track record of improving processes, systems, and controls
- Confident leader with strong stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to ERP environments and transformation programmes is advantageous
