Investigo are recruiting a high-calibre Group Finance Manager to join a dynamic services-based organisation based in Leicester, Hybrid working.
You will play a critical role in delivering accurate group reporting, maintaining a robust control environment, and supporting regulatory and risk management frameworks across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Group Reporting & Technical Accounting
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS / UK GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Manage complex accounting areas (e.g. revenue recognition in services contracts, provisions, intercompany eliminations)
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory returns (as applicable to the business sector)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
- Act as a key contact for regulatory audits, reviews, and external stakeholders
- Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and assess impact on the business
Risk Management & Control Framework
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the group financial control framework
- Ensure strong internal controls across all finance processes (e.g. revenue, billing, cash, payroll)
- Lead risk assessments and support enterprise risk management processes
- Own and maintain risk registers and mitigation plans within finance
- Drive a culture of accountability and control awareness across the business
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and develop a financial accountant
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external advisors
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
- ACA qualified (or equivalent), trained within a Top 10 / Big 4 audit firm
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / UK GAAP)
- Experience in a services-based or multi-entity environment preferred
- Exposure to group reporting and consolidation
- Experience or exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks is highly desirable
Salary
£70,000 to £75,000 basic plus full benefits package to include annual bonus up to 10% and Hybrid working (2 days office based).
