Group Financial Reporting Manager

Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid

Reporting to: Group Financial Controller

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to join our Group Finance team. This is a pivotal role with responsibility for the Group’s external financial reporting and statutory obligations across the UK and overseas subsidiaries.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work closely with colleagues across Tax, FP&A, Legal & Company Secretariat, and international finance teams, as well as external auditors and advisors. You will play a leading role in ensuring high-quality, compliant financial reporting and supporting the Group through evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Reporting - Ownership of the preparation of the annual IFRS consolidated Group accounts.
Lead the planning and delivery of interim and year-end statutory reporting.
Ensure financial statements comply with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Lead the assessment and adoption of IFRS 18.

Act as a key point of contact for external and internal auditors, supporting interim reviews, controls work, and year-end audits.

Oversee the preparation and finalisation of UK statutory accounts, including dormant entities, working with auditors and the Company Secretary.

Responsibility for PLC filing requirements, including half-year and full-year reporting.

Provide technical accounting guidance, including assessing the impact of changes in IFRS/GAAP.

Manage P12 restatements into Adaptive.

PLC Head Office Accounts - Produce monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines, including detailed variance analysis.

Post general ledger journals and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

Analyse and report on financial performance.

Review and approve PLC payroll.

Lead the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting.

Skills and Experience:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
Significant experience in a similar Group reporting or technical accounting role.
Strong IFRS technical expertise.

Experience working in a multi-currency, multi-GAAP Group environment.

Proven experience at a parent company consolidating subsidiary accounts.

Confident communicator able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.

Strong analytical skills and commercial financial insight.

Comfortable dealing with complex financial and technical accounting matters.

High level of computer literacy, including financial modelling.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

PSA reporting.

EBT (Employee Benefit Trust) reporting.

P11D preparation.

Support ad-hoc finance and operational projects as required.
