The Diocese of Carlisle is looking for a
Growing Younger Enabler for Children and Families who is creative and innovative, respectfully engaging people and places in ways which honour and encourage established culture and church life. In addition, an enthusiasm and commitment to collaborative working will be essential with the ability to effectively build relationships and work in partnership with others.
As part of the
Mission and Ministry, Support and Innovation team you will have
a pivotal role in delivering key elements of
the Growing Younger Project funded by a five-year Diocesan Investment Programme award and the Growing Younger Strategy.
Working across rural and urban Cumbria this is an exciting opportunity for a missional and experienced children and families leader with
a passion to serve and support local churches, primary schools and communities, embedding both faithful improvisation and mixed ecology in a Diocese with a commitment to
the spiritual flourishing of children and families, as together we nurture and
support their journey of faith.
This is a full-time position of 35 hours a week.
Salary £40,462 FTE plus 15% non-contributory pension.
This post is subject to an occupational requirement that the postholder be a practising Christian under Part 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
