Job Description:
Summary
To lead the strategic development and execution of marketing, brand and digital communications for Langdale Care Homes and Empathika, building strong public engagement, industry leadership and digital growth across all platforms. Lead a marketing / brand team to produce positive results and growth and expectations.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
- Develop and maintain brand identity across all platforms
- Position Langdale Care Homes and Empathika as leaders in care innovation
Content Creation
- Plan and produce high quality digital content
- Manage social media strategy and publishing
- Produce articles, case studies and thought leadership
Digital Growth
- Increase followers, engagement and reach
- Monitor analytics and adjust strategy
PR and Visibility
- Secure media coverage
- Promote events and exhibitions
- Build industry partnerships
Leadership Brand
- Develop Directors public profile as a sector leader
- Create speaking, article and media opportunities
Requirements:
Education and Qualifications
- GCSEs and/or A Levels (or equivalent) in relevant subjects such as Media, Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Digital Technology.
- Evidence of continued professional development or training in marketing, media production, branding, or digital communications is desirable.
Digital Media and Content Creation
- Strong social media management skills across major platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Proven ability to record high-quality video content using professional cameras, smartphones, or similar equipment.
- Video editing skills using professional editing software
- Experience producing engaging short-form and long-form digital content for brand promotion, storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Ability to plan, organise, and maintain a structured content calendar to ensure consistent digital presence.
Digital Marketing and Analytics
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies to increase online visibility and engagement.
- Ability to analyse performance using social media insights and analytics tools (e.g., LinkedIn Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics).
- Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles to improve online reach.
- Experience with digital campaigns and paid advertising on social media platforms is desirable.
- Ability to monitor engagement metrics and adjust content strategies based on data.
Brand Development and Creative Direction
- Experience contributing to or managing brand identity and brand guidelines.
- Strong creative thinking with the ability to develop original ideas, campaigns, and digital storytelling strategies.
- High attention to detail to ensure consistency in brand tone, visual identity, and messaging across all platforms.
- Ability to align digital content with organisational values and brand positioning.
Communication and Presentation Skills
- Confident public speaker with the ability to present ideas, represent the organisation professionally, and speak confidently in front of audiences or on camera.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, leadership teams, and external partners.

- Strong photography skills to capture professional images for digital and marketing use.
- Experience editing and preparing content suitable for social media and websites.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation, or media production.
- Previous experience editing video and producing digital media for professional use.
- Experience working with content planning tools or structured content strategies.
Ethical Media and Safeguarding Awareness
- Understanding of ethical media practices, particularly when capturing images or videos involving vulnerable individuals.
Other Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with willingness to travel between locations if required.
- Ability to work flexibly where filming, events, or campaigns require occasional extended hours.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
