Job Title: Head of Design and Technology
Job Purpose:
- To implement and deliver an appropriate broad, balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for students.
- To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher or form tutor.
- To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for academic growth.
Reporting Line: Assistant Principal
Tenure: Permanent, full time
Salary: United Learning Pay Scales plus TLR
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the delivery of outstanding Design and Technology lessons in all year groups. To provide a nurturing classroom and school environment that helps pupils to develop as learners.
- To help to maintain/establish purposeful behaviour for learning across the whole school.
- To contribute to the effective working of the school.
